I have had the fortune to have traveled to Moscow a few times over the past couple of years while on assignments. So when I was researching into the history of London Underground for my Architecture project back in the early 2000's. Moscow underground stations always came up with it's parallels to architecture design even thou it's 60 years younger. It's a wonderful maze of stations some with marble walls, high ceilings and even grandiose chandeliers. If you ever have the opportunity to spend a few hours exploring it's well worth the time even if you don't understand the Russian cyrillic alphabet!
